Saturday 3 October
Ascot Park Hotel
Cruise 4 Care is back this October, bringing one of golf’s most respected figures to Southland for A Night Out with Hospice South, featuring Steve Williams. Williams, best known as the longtime caddie to Tiger Woods, will headline the event, sharing stories from inside elite professional golf in a rare New Zealand-speaking appearance.
With a career spanning decades at the highest level of sport, Williams has been part of some of golf’s most iconic moments, including 13 major championship victories alongside Tiger Woods. Widely regarded as one of the most successful caddies in the history of the game, he has also achieved success in motorsport as a two-time New Zealand speedway champion and now serves as Patron of Speedway New Zealand. His insights and experiences are expected to attract strong interest from golf enthusiasts, motorsport fans, and the wider business community.
The event, taking place on 3 October 2026 at Ascot Park Hotel, aims to raise significant funds for Hospice South while delivering a premium and memorable experience for attendees.
Organisers say the evening presents a unique opportunity to bring together the region’s golf, business and community networks in support of an organisation that provides essential care to families across Southland.
